The Refit

After purchasing the boat in October 2014 we put her on the hard at Shelter Island, and spent the next 9 months doing the preliminary refit.

Over the years we’ve replaced or repaired almost every functioning item on the boat. The list is extensive.

In July 2016 we replace the aging Nanni with a Beta 50 HP. We removed parts from the Nanni until the engine could be hoisted out through the overhead hatch. The Beta was slid in from the companion way on UHMW skids.
